| Short & Sweet Sunday Is Back ☀️ |
| I used to send these little Sunday notes as a way to share something useful, encouraging, or interesting before the week started, and I’ve missed having that space. |
| Somewhere along the way, email started to feel very business-y. |
| Launch emails. Announcements. Reminders. Sales. Links. Deadlines. |
| And those things have a place. I run a business, after all. |
| But I’ve been missing the kind of email where I can just sit down and tell you what I’ve been thinking about. |
| What I’m learning. |
| What’s happening behind the scenes. |
| What I’m trying in my own business. |
| What I wish more artists knew. |
| And sometimes, what I’m loving, laughing at, obsessing over, or completely changing my mind about. |
| So I’m bringing Short & Sweet Sunday back. |
| What I Want This to Be |
| I want this to become a weekly resource for artists who are trying to build something real from their creativity. |
| Not just a newsletter you skim because you feel like you should. |
| Something you actually look forward to opening. |
| Some weeks, I might take you behind the scenes of Gingiber and show you what we’re working on. |
| Some weeks, we’ll talk about marketing, licensing, products, email lists, selling your work, or why something in your business isn’t clicking yet. |
| I might show you something I tried that worked beautifully. |
| I’ll probably also show you things that absolutely did not. |
| There will be practical ideas you can steal, things I’m noticing in the creative business world, lessons I’ve learned the hard way, and hopefully a little inspiration for whatever you’re building. |
| Basically, I want Sundays to feel like you pulled up a chair next to me and asked: |
| Okay, Stacie. What are we talking about this week? |
| A Little Behind the Curtain |
| One thing I want to do more of here is show you the parts of running a creative business that usually stay hidden. |
| The decisions. |
| The experiments. |
| The products that surprise us. |
| The ideas that flop. |
| The things we change halfway through. |
| The very unglamorous spreadsheets behind the pretty art. |
| Because I think there’s a lot of value in seeing what building a creative business actually looks like while it’s happening, not just once the story has a neat ending. |
| |
| Pick one thing in your business that would make next week feel a little easier. |
| Not ten things. |
| One. |
| Maybe it’s finally sending the email you’ve been putting off. |
| Maybe it’s photographing one product better. |
| Maybe it’s following up with someone you pitched. |
| Maybe it’s putting a date on the launch you keep saying you’re going to do “soon.” |
| Do that first. |
| What You Can Expect on Sundays |
| A little business. |
| A little behind the scenes. |
| A little creativity. |
| A little encouragement. |
| Maybe something I’m loving. |
| Maybe something I think you should try. |
| And probably the occasional squirrel. |
| My biggest hope is that you leave each Sunday with at least one thing. |
| One idea to try. |
| One question to ask yourself. |
| One thing that makes your business feel clearer. |
| Or maybe just the reminder that you’re allowed to figure this out as you go. |
| I’m glad you’re here. |
| See you next Sunday, |
